PUBLIC NOTICE 


The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida (FPHA) and Fort Pierce Housing, Inc. (FPHI) Regular Board Meetings are open to the public and will be conducted using communications media technology. FPHA’s meeting will be held on December 8, 2021 at 4:30 pm. Immediately thereafter, FPHI’s meeting will commence. Said meetings will be held at our office, address noted above.  

We will adhere to social distancing and have mandated mask wearing for all employees and anyone entering the Agency, regardless of vaccination status. 

If you wish to attend, either in person or electronically, please contact our office at the telephone number listed above for further instructions and to RSVP. The public is welcome to speak during the public forum and time limits will apply. Speakers must register prior to the public forum. The registration form is available at the entrance of the meeting room or via our Agency’s website.  

While there will be physical quorum present, the meeting is accessible as follows:

The purpose of the meetings is to conduct business as the Board deems necessary. The Board Meeting packet is available in advance and during the meeting by visiting our website at www.hacfp.org.

All proceedings before the Board are electronically recorded. Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Board at a meeting will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings be made, which will include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be asked.  A copy of the tape or minutes of the Board meeting may be obtained, at the requester’s expense, by contacting our Agency, telephone number above.

Implementation of the attached waivers may affect a program clients’ participation on Public Housing or Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher programs.  The objective of the waivers is to provide administrative flexibilities and relief through alternative requirements and technical amendments to allow ongoing administration of the program during the COVID-19 pandemic.
