Affordable (Non-Subsidized) Housing Program

Thank you for your interest in the Affordable Housing program with the Housing Authority of the City of Fort Pierce (FPHA). Affordable Housing is a non-subsidy rental program available to low wage income earners. Rental rates are established lower than market to provide low-income families opportunities for desirable rental housing.

Eligibility

Affordable housing is limited to income qualified families and individuals. FPHA determines your eligibility based on:

* Annual gross income (must be under 120% Area Median Income)
* U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status
* Credit worthiness (some credit issues ok)

If you are eligible, the FPHA will check your references to make sure you and your family will be good tenants. FPHAs will deny admission to any applicant whose habits and practices may be expected to have a detrimental effect on other tenants or on the property's environment.
