2022 Board Meeting Schedule Updated 03-21-22

SHA board meetings are open to the public and will be conducted using communications media technology. The meetings are held the last Tuesday of the month: April, June, August, October, and December, with the annual meeting being held on the last Tuesday of February. Said meetings will commence at 10:30 am and will be held at the address above.  

 MEETING DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE 

  • Annual Board Meeting: February 22, 2022 
  • Regular Board Meetings: April 26, 2022; June 28, 2022; August 30, 2022; October 25, 2022 and December 27, 2022

We will adhere to social distancing and recommend mask wearing at all times while in our offices. If you feel unwell or have a fever, please do not enter our offices. If you wish to attend, either in person or electronically, please contact our office at the telephone number above for further instructions and to RSVP. The public is welcome to speak during the public forum and time limits will apply. Speakers must register prior to the public forum. The purpose of the meetings is to conduct business as the board deems necessary. The board meeting packets will be available in advance and during the meeting by visiting our website: https://www.hacfp.org/165/Stuart-Housing-Authority

All proceedings before the boards are electronically recorded. Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the board at a meeting will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings be made, which will include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be asked. A copy of the tape or minutes of the board meeting may be obtained, at the requester’s expense, by contacting our office, telephone number above.

Implementation of the attached waivers may affect a program clients’ participation on Public Housing or Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher programs.  The objective of the waivers is to provide administrative flexibilities and relief through alternative requirements and technical amendments to allow ongoing administration of the program during the COVID-19 pandemic.
