Every parcel of land in Florida is covered by at least one special district. Special districts serve a necessary and useful function by providing services to residents, businesses, and property. Special districts generate billions in revenues for Florida's economy, create private-sector jobs, and have a substantial impact on the lives of every Floridian and on the state's economy. For these reasons, special districts must be held highly accountable. Chapter 189, Florida Statutes, Uniform Special District Accountability Act (the "Act") holds all special districts accountable and accessible to state agencies, the municipalities and counties in which they operate, and the citizens they serve.

HURRICANE IRMA

 

Due to the potential damage caused by Hurricane Irma, FPHA will close it's offices at 3pm on Wednsday September 6th.  We will attempt to re-open on Monday September 11th, depending on damage assessments.

 

 

 

Board Meeting Cancelled

 

 

 The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida (“FPHA”) Regular Board Meeting of the Board of Commissioners scheduled for Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 4:30 pm is hereby cancelled.

 

The next FPHA Regular Board Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 4:30 pm in the Housing Authority’s Board Room located at 511 Orange Avenue, Fort Pierce, Florida 34950.

 

Immediately upon the adjournment of FPHA Regular Board Meeting, the Regular Board Meeting of the Board of Directors of Fort Pierce Housing, Inc. (“FPHI”) will commence.
